The trip starts with a a pickup at your hotel in Chiang Mai and a visit to a traditional local market then about a one hour trek to one of the local villages for lunch. Then its about a three hour trek to the Lahu village where you will spend the night.
Day two is a another three hour (approximate) trek to the elephant camp where you will have the opportunity to ride one of these fabulous intelligent animals, then its time to go rafting on rapids along the Mae Tang river then it's onto a bamboo raft for more excitement.
It's then a short drive to an Akha village before returning back to Chiang Mai.
