The Similan & Surin Islands are recognised as one of the top ten dive destinations in the world and the chances of diving with sharks, manta rays and turtles are high on this fantastic trip.

This is a premier trip where you will dive all the major dive sites that the Similan & Surin Marine National Park Islands have to offer.

These include Koh Bon which is famous for manta ray sightings and the Surin Islands of Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock which is an amazing deep wall dive with regular leopard and white tip shark sightings and the occasional whale shark.

You can have lots of fun making use of the rubber rib support boat, so you can go and explore the untouched islands and also go snorkeling when you are not diving.

You can’t get much better value for the number of dives and if you share a four birth A/C cabin the cost is really cheap compared to most other liveaboards of this standard.

The MVD Queen has a wooden monohull and 3 decks. The main deck has 6 cabins for our guests. 2 Double bed, 1 Twin Bunk bed, and 3 Quad (4) Bunk bed cabins these cabins are fitted with curtains for each bunk bed for your privacy.

All cabins are air conditioned and have a sea view window that opens. There are 2 more cabins with double beds on the upper deck these are our sea view cabins when you open the cabin door the view is the ocean and islands. All cabins have 220v plugs, so you can charge your battery packs or your lights.

The upper deck has 2 Double bed cabins for guests and where you can find the wheel house (captains quarters) at the bow. At the stern is the eating area. Here you can help yourself with coffee, tea, toast, water, electrolyte drinks, fruits which are always on the table for your convenience.

The dinning area consists of 1 large table in the center and 2 additional tables on the side ample room for dining the sides of the boat are open so you can enjoy the good weather to the maximum.

Our food is very popular with our guests, Please check our guest comments. We have a large collection of fish identification books in several languages, your dive guide will enjoy explaining about the fish you have seen together, the dining area is a great place to relax and read a book.

Breakfast is European style: we serve Brown Bread, Omelettes, Fried eggs, Sausages, Corn Flakes, Muesli, fruits, and fresh ground coffee or Nescafe. Lunch and Dinner are served with traditional Thai food. We cater for Vegetarians, just tell us your needs.

We also have a TV and DVD player so any videos made on the trip can be reviewed, or relax and watch a movie. There is also a stereo so you can relax with some of your favourite CDs. Don't forget your MP3 player you can connect it to our stereo.

On the main deck at the stern is the Dive Platform and gearing up area for your diving equipment which has more than ample room to put on and store your dive gear we also have 40 Luxfer 12 ltr Tanks we use INT connection, we do have DIN adapters.

There are also 2 Bauer Mariner II compressors with an air cooling system with P41 air filters to give you the best Quality air.

Close at hand are the boat crew, who are there to help you gear up and help you on your dive entry and exit. The crew will fill the tanks so all you do is dive. Most of the time you will be picked up by our boat or our dingy.

There are 3 spacious toilets with showers and 2 showers on the dive deck. The galley is also on the main deck. The food is prepared by the cook and her assistant cook. We cater for Veg and none Veg, and any other special needs you require.

The Sun Deck has lots of room for getting your tan, we also have a couple of hammocks & sundeck chairs under our new shade on the back of the sun deck, This is a nice place for spotting Dolphins, Manta rays and Whale sharks while travelling to new dive sites and up here your always the one to spot the Dolphins first. Traditional Thai Massage is available on request.

This liveaboard is not only cost effective, it has very high standards, offers great cabin variations but it also provides one of the best menus of any liveaboard - you can eat high quality food until you drop.

Oh, and don’t forget the onboard massages that you can have on top deck under the stars.
